The government is no damn good, and daily getting worse: I said it would. What is it doing for the country, eh? Standards of living are falling day by day: meanwhile inflation soars. The fact is nothing is certain, except death and taxes. As for the parties, they - for all they say or do - are no more different than a right- or left-hand shoe. The people have no further confidence in spectacles of mutual incompetence.
